For as long as he can remember, Stu has played in a band.  In junior high it was all about covering the British invaders and classic rock before it was "classic".  In 1970 he formed The Heartbreak of Psoriasis, a 12 piece band covering Chicago, and Mad Dogs and Englishman, among others.  In 1997, Stu co-founded Stealin' Dan.  As the band evolved, they were able to attract an increasingly talented core of musicians who not only loved playing the music of Steely Dan, but delighted in exploring new contours of that music. Dedication, talent, and friendship have held this band (renamed FM: A Steely Dan Tribute) together.  Now, almost 20 years later, Stu is both proud and humbled to be involved with such an amazing group of musicians.

When not playing with FM, Stu also loves gigging with The Core, a Long Island based classic rock band.

With what little time he has left over, he practices dentistry for over 30 years in East Meadow, NY.
